Dear David Warner,
I am writing to you after noticing your offer to buy a beer for any doubters, naysayers, or critics. I fit that description. I am critical of you and I like beer. So, I will take you up on your offer and buy you one as well. I’d love to chat with you about your family, cricket, and your thoughts on the sport. However, we must discuss Cape Town. The effects of that incident on Australian cricket were significant. Although others have done similar things, what you did was bad and it broke the integrity of Australian cricket.
I’d love to have a beer with you and chat about cricket, but we must have a serious conversation about Cape Town. I hope to hear your side of events and gain a better understanding.
Sincerely, Craig Gmeiner
