Former England player Jo Yapp has signed a two-year deal as the Wallaroos’ new head coach. She previously coached the England under-20s and was the director of rugby at Worcester. The move comes after Jay Tregonning finished coaching the national side. Yapp will be the first female to coach the Wallaroos. Rugby Australia is also looking to secure their director of high performance. They have also been working on finding a new head coach for the Wallabies after a disappointing year. Rugby Australia has endured a difficult year and now looks to move forward with new leadership for both the Wallaroos and the Wallabies.
