Knights secure Origin star with re-signing, Bulldogs secure TENTH recruit in Sharks swap deal, Roosters sign Butcher in new deal

Newcastle has secured Jacob Saifiti until the end of 2027. The 27-year-old prop is coming off a career-best season and had been rumored to possibly leave in exchange for Josh Addo-Carr to the Bulldogs, who have been aggressively recruiting utilities this season. Cronulla also extended Toby Rudolf to a new two-year contract, The Roosters further strengthened their backrow with a three-year deal for Nat Butcher. New recruitment includes Connor Tracey for the Bulldogs from the Sharks, Harley Smith-Shields for the Titans from the Canberra Raiders, and Stephen Crichton for the Bulldogs from the Panthers. Lastly, future departures include Zane Musgrove to the Warrington Wolves and Jayden Sullivan to the Wests Tigers.
