Eighteen months ago, Nic White stated that Eddie Jones would be the first person he would love to have dinner with. At present, he says that wouldn’t be the case as energy was contagious. He feels that Eddie experimented with a few things in 2023 from which he learned a lot, both positive and negative. The Wallabies only managed two wins from nine Tests throughout the year. Nic White states that the Wallabies struggled defensively under Jones and didn’t quite get used to his game plan. He acknowledged that it was an experiment that did not work and stated that Australian rugby isn’t in as bad shape as their World Cup flop suggests. Lastly, White talked about moving on from the past and how linking up with the Western Force has given him a new lease on life.
