The Next Generation: Battling for Starting Spots as Steph, LeBron, and Lillard Face Off

The guard is changing in the All-Star lineup with Steph Curry, LeBron James, and Damian Lillard facing the prospect of being snubbed. Curry and LeBron’s teams are not performing well, putting their starting spots in jeopardy. Lillard’s move to Milwaukee has not gone as planned, with his performance dropping significantly. In the East, Antetokounmpo, Tatum, Embiid, and Halliburton are locked in, and Mitchell should get the other backcourt spot. Lillard and Young will likely get bench berths. In the frontcourt, Butler, Adebayo, and Brown will likely be chosen along with Randle. In the West, Jokic is a lock to start, and Curry and SGA are the other guard frontrunners. Leonard and James are in a three-into-two scenario for the forward spots, while Edwards, Booker, Davis, Towns, and George are also strong contenders. Though Harden has been a consistent player, it’s hard to see him making the roster.
