Personally, I never doubted Australia for a second. Admittedly, up until the World Cup final, my sentiment was different. Despite their losses, I believe that Australia had the potential to play a good game, even though I did not foresee them winning the championship. I thought that India, South Africa, England, New Zealand, and Pakistan were all formidable opponents. However, Australia performed beyond my expectations, especially during the semi-finals and finals, which led me to believe that they had a decent chance of winning. During the last part of the final, I felt confident that Australia would emerge victorious, a sentiment that hadn’t been present until that moment.
